Another classy-enough trailer for the new Shyamalan effort!
I remain curious if, perhaps, with Will Smith’s hand crammed up his ass, the insanity switch inside the director’s head has flipped and he’s remembered what real movies are and how to make them. This looks like a real movie. That’s a start.
Simple premises are good, and this has that. This look elaborates on what we’ve seen and evidently Baby Smith goes on a quest to get a rescue beacon, while Papa Smith hangs back with a bum leg. Kind of a Blade/Whistler, Batman/Oracle scenario. Lots of animal combat and map-reading and other dangers ensue! I’m down, and I hope to be impressed.
Also, the super-maps from X-Men and Prometheus had a child, and Will Smith has it.
This one hits June 7th.

What’s the accent Will is going for? Or is it just a strange speech pattern?
They seem to be hiding M. Night’s involvement in this project from the general public. Not that I blame them.
Another silly attempt for Will Smith to be serious….I wish he would retire.
IMDB misses you, cunt.
Not digging the “Dallas in the airlock, tracking something coming towards you on the radar” Alien rip off – but outside of that, it’s not horrible. Except for the accents. Wondering how Will’s gonna say “aw hell no” Jamaican style.
Um wait is this the sequel to The Happening.
[channeling Robot Chicken] “What a twist!”
Nice little bit of Deus Ex: Human Revolution music at the start.
