Between this and his amazing, AMAZING work in Burt Wonderstone Jim Carrey is turning this phase of his career into the most interesting. Kick-Ass 2 looks like a lot fo fun though there are quite a few shots in this trailer that look overcooked or temp greenscreen shots. Either way, this is a bonus for us this year.
Oh, and MTV and their fancypants embeddable shit sucks.

I gave up on the comic when I figured out Millar was more interested in spitting in my face then telling a good story, but this looks like fun.
And Burt Wonderstone is good, huh? Trailers did not interest me at all, but if you’re giving it an endorsement. . .
There’s a lot to like about it. Carrey is amazing and there are a few really nice laughs in it.

yeah they need to clean up the green screen crap (reminds me of the “Red” teaser when Willis steps out of the spinning car guns blazing). Still can’t watch the original again. Watching Big Daddy on fire yet screaming out commands to save Hit Girl’s ass still gets me emotional, especially after watching Big Daddy destroy a warehouse full of thugs on his own.
“Yeah. There’s a dog on your balls.” Awesome.

I haven’t rewatched it since I saw it in theatres, but I completely missed what he was saying to her because I was distracted by the fact that the music in that scene was lifted from Sunshine (the scene where Capa has to jump from the Icarus 2 onto the bomb), which also got used in the first season of The Walking Dead for some reason.
