And then this happens.
The new title is being developed by Wayforward, who made Contra 4, and that hideously underplayed Batman: Brave and the Bold game for the Wii. It’ll be out for XBox Live Arcade, PSN, and WiiU.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go find a room where I will not be judged for SQUEALING LIKE A LITTLE GIRL IN A SANRIO STORE ALL DAY.

Jesus Christ, Nintendo is really fucking intent on selling me, personally, a WiiU. I was going to ignore the new Mario and SSB and live life without the latest video game system, but every time I try to get out, they keep pulling me back in.
I just cried. Happy tears. I love the original. When I picked up a NES/SNES Retro Duo from ThinkGeek a couple of years ago, this was one of the NES games I hunted down and purchased. Man, it looks beautiful.
Classic game. I remember it being a lot of fun and pretty short, so it never overstayed it’s welcome. I don’t know why, but I actually like the original graphics better. 3D backgrounds are kind of unecessary.
Absolute joy…this along with the D&D Capcom games being announced made my day!
