Some recent rumblings indicate that CHUD may soon be your source for all manners of Birdemic 2 coverage. Including but not limited to an in-depth 60 Minutes style sitdown interview with director James Nguyen.
Is this a reboot, remake, re-imagining? Does it happen before, after, or concurrently to the original work? These answers will come in time. For now, I simply submit this trailer:

Oh my, i couldn’t make it through the first one without falling asleep. It wasn’t a shitty miracle, it was just shit – pass. And yet Tommy Wiseau has yet to grace us with another masterpiece…
