We saw a truncated version of the video above yesterday, specifically the portions focusing on Iron Man 3. The full piece (which is from the Phase 2 Mega Box Set released yesterday, and might get pulled offline at some point) includes teases and acknowledgements of all the films on Marvel’s slate though, and even confirms the artwork we saw yesterday is legit. Even better is new concept art from Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America 2, along with the first official release of some of Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man footage. It’s all pretty exciting if you’re looking forward to the next wave of MCU films.

I’m curious which of these properties has chewers buzzing most. Personally, I just can’t get over a Shane Black Iron Man film, even if the trailers aren’t promising anything transcendent. It’s Guardians that provides the most fascinating question mark for me though.

Yeah, I’m going to pay money to see advertising. Being advertised to is an experience I want to pay for.
I’m definitely most excited about Ant Man, but that’s two freaking years away. And mostly, I’m just interested because I eat up anything that has Wright attached to it.
But for the stuff coming out a bit closer to the current date, yeah, the talent behind Iron Man 3 has me looking forward to it, but mostly because I’m convinced it’ll be better than Iron Man 2, and really, that’s not saying much. Honestly, I keep forgetting Thor is coming out this year. . . I’d have to say I’m least excited about that. For Guardians, I’m more curious about how the general populace will take to it than the movie itself. I’m REALLY excited about Cap 2, mostly because I love the story so much. Must be the only good retcon in comics ever. But the fact that it was happening was as much a surprise to Brubaker as it was to the fandom kind of worries me. And why are they giving Winter Soldier a ski mask? Will they make his identity a mystery? Certainly cooler than a domino mask, I’ll give them that.
Okay, ranted enough.
