For many people Oscar night is a little frustrating because they haven’t had a chance to see all of the films nominated, especially for Best Picture, which is often packed with movies that get limited releases in late December. AMC has heard your cries of pain, and they’re doing something surprisingly awesome: showing all five Best Picture nominees in a row for one price the day before the Oscars.
On Saturday February 23rd you can head to your local participating AMC theater and see Michael Clayton, There Will Be Blood, Atonement, Juno and No Country for Old Men and get a large popcorn with unlimited refills for only 30 bucks. That’s a killer deal, if you ask me.
Click here to see if your local AMC is hosting this special deal. With so many screens out there all being taken up by absolute crap it’s nice to see a big chain doing something a little bit cool. Sure, Fool’s Gold may have to lose a screen that day, but I think we as a society will survive.

Pretty cool. Digg'd and Twittered the article to spread the word for you guys. Thanks for the heads up Devin.
Juno is a pile of trash. It's cookie cutter indie bullshit like LMS, Napoleon Dynamite and Garden State before. Melancholy milquetoast, wacky, white surbia set against soundtracks that make you contemplate suicide. There were DOZENS of other movies more deserving of Juno's spot.
Woah.
Theaters are going to need to start doing more of these special deals and promotions if they want to keep a leg up on my own home theater. Good job AMC.
This is great news. I'm spreading this article around, Devin – and thanks for the heads up.
And Bozz, chill out dude.
I've already got my ticket for the Burbank Six Marathon. Should be epic. Seeing Atonement once was enough for me, so that will probably be my lunch break.
Bozz,
So you don't like Juno. That's ok. Everyone has the right to his or her own opinion. But your comment as written, may better be suited for the bowls of AICN. Thanks for the heads up Devin, good work as always.
That's some awesome news. Too bad the participating AMC's are too far from Kennesaw, GA. Guess that balances the time we got Blade Runner's final cut back in November. O well, at least I have seen three of the five nominated, only Atonement and Clayton to go.
Dammit, this deal needs to happen up in Canukialand as well.
🙁
Damn you 49th parallel…damn you.
My ass was killing me after one showing of TWBB, to then sit through 4 MORE MOVIES? That's Gitmo level torture, especially with Juno on the rundown. Count me out.
Man, I wish we had AMC theaters here. I might just have to take the day off work and make the drive to Atlanta for the day. I've already seen three of the five but wouldn't mind seeing those three again anyway.
