Last night I spat in the face of the rules and brought you guys the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer in a bootleg form hours before it officially premiered. Now it’s time to put bootlegs behind us and enjoy the trailer in Quicktime. Click the iconic image below for trailer goodness.

Devin,
Bootleg trailers are for fuckin' amateurs. I expect better from chud.com. What is this, aicn circa 1998?
Respect the rules….this trailer was worth waiting for.
bootlegs and huge fonts are for AICN.
DEVIN HAS CHOSEN BOOTLEG TRAILERS AND HERE'S WHY…
This is fuckin' epic. I'm so down for another Indy adventure, even when I thought we were done – they pull me back in!
Kaminski's managed to make the movie mirror the look of previous installments but keep his signature heavy backlight.
I can't wait!
After the whole Olympics thing it's clear Devin owns the Beard. Bootleg, Quicktime, whatever, I just want to see this sumbitch! Thanks for the trailer in all its forms. I'll forgive three shit prequels in exchange for one great Jones!
What is with the CGI pants. Check out the shot where Indy and the fat guy back up with their hands up. Look at fat fuck's pants…they are totally animated. What, is Jar Jar in there?
…uhm, i click indy, get circut city!? what the hell!??
Looks like crap. Not excited for this movie at all. Childish humor. Ridiculous stunt that a man in his prime would have a hard time pulling off, much less a senior citizen.
Flying through a truck's windshield. Doesn't hurt at all. Everyone should try it.
And is this thing shot entirely on greenscreen? It looks like it.
Kinda embarassing.
Ash,
Being an iconoclast for the sake of being such is childish. This looks fantastic.
dear ass talon,
i understand you have never had any fun, but that doesn't make it ok for you to act like a cunt, now does it?
my windshield smashing grandfather shits on you by the way.
other than that, i think they appropriated the look of the first three films very well.
Hmm, some horrible moments in an otherwise decent trailer… Thankfully, they did keep la Boof to the minimum, but the cringeworthy "I thought it was closer" and the lousy "National Stairs" are painful to even fast-forward through.
But at least there's no shake cam.
Looks like The Beard caught National Treasure on HBO one night and said to himself, "Fuck those fuckers, I'll show 'em what's what."
Looks like fun in the summer movie vein, namely noisy and a bit silly. It's sometimes hard to gauge the tone of a film from a trailer, and although Lucas and Spielberg have both made wonderful films in the past, when they screw up it can be really cringe worthy. I guess we can only hope the keep the one liners and excessive use of CGI under control.
I love the internet. Where else would somebody who calls themselves "Ash Talon" talk about something being childish. Also? I think some of you built the Indy series up in your heads to be way more serious than it actually was. Even "Temple of Doom", the darkest in the series, contains tons of outright goofy shit. Just roll with it. I'm looking forward to this.
I liked this movie the first time I saw it. When it was called "Jewel of the Nile".
All was good until Indy missed the car and transformed into, yes, another attempt by Lucas to shit in our faces and say "thought Indy was safe from me huh? WRONG". This man is a monster with no heart.
Everyone is freaking out about this film. Face the facts people, this movie is almost 20 years too late.
maybe it was the hype, but i was not enthused by what i saw. the special effects from lucas arts was just as green screen pathetic as the last 3 star wars films. and the excessive use of the bull whip sound effect didn't help either.
needless to say but john williams can do no wrong.
On the Yahoo site, why is there the Punisher logo in the aztec decoration?
So it can be told: digital gun removal is responsible for Ray Winstone's Travelling Pants.
Amazing.
some fucking people are never happy. look at the nit picky fucking depressing bullshit this trailer has received. I think you guys put all your hopes and dreams into movies way too much and they just can;t deliver when you rest on them like that. maybe some of you need time out from movies…a little break. i am not saying the trailer was mind blowing and life changing but al day all over the wqeb I keep reading the same predictable over the top negative shit and its just a little boring really….
Why the need to digitally remove one gun in a scene with loads of other people holding guns? Had they just exceeded their quota by one? What's up?
@Alfie – not as boring as you. Go suck a prequel.
Okay, we had fair warning on Old Coot Indy, The Beef, Alien Skulls, Marion's pristine white anti-dirt adventuring shirt – our expectations were suitably lowered/adjusted…but I don't think anyone was prepared for Digital Indy with "Car Windshield Arse Attack Action" and the extensive and obvious green-screening…I guess a lot of people thought Stevie still had a bit of old school fight left in him.
Anybody who thinks that the CG in a teaser for a movie that's over 3 months away is a representation of the finished product is, in the words of the irrepressible Camille Paglia, "a complete fucking 'tard"
The internets raped my adulthood.
