There’s been a breakout at Arkham Asylum. The escapees: everyone.
Being purchased by Warner Brothers hasn’t seemed to hurt the efforts of Traveller’s Tales much; this first full trailer for Lego Batman: The Videogame shows that their command of current-gen visuals and tech has leapt forward (look at those explosive lighting blooms, man) while their command of goofy humor is the same as ever. I like the old-school Penguin that glides airborne with his umbrella, the mere presence of Harley Quinn and the Scarecrow’s visage, still creepy even when Lego-fied.
But did they have to make Catwoman’s hips sway quite that much? At least Robin is properly repulsed by the sight of hertero superhero snogging.

September 2008? Damn, why so long? Hasn't this game been in production for quite a while?
why, if this is a lego game is Gotham city made of real materials? Why not make it look, I dunno, like legos? lame.
Excellent. Can't wait. And apparently "unknown user", you never played Lego Star Wars. It's not a wide open environment where you can destroy everything like Lego World. Some people can find anything to complain about, especially something they're never even going to buy or even play.
My kids are going to eat that straight from the box.
F'ing great. This and Indy will be more than enough Lego goodness to last us for quite a while.
The most upsetting thing about this? That looks like, in the 30+ years of videogaming so far, the best Batman game that's ever been made. And it's a Lego game. same complaint with the original trilogy Star Wars Lego game. Games designers! Look how much fun these characters can be!!!
Chief Gordon wants us to BRING IN EVERYONE!
Chief Gordon doesn't have TIIIIIME for this Mickey Mouse BULLSHIT!
Does this game have a lousy third act? Haha. No, but really, fuck you devin.
I'm Batman.
