You loved the photo of Robert Downey, Jr. in blackface (playing a white actor playing a black man) that teased Tropic Thunder earlier this week, and now Moriarty at AICN has posted a link to the teaser trailer site. Pass a little age verification (which seems wholly superfluous for the purpose of this tease) and you’ll get a partial look at the trailer that’s going to debut there one week from Monday.
The few seconds on display have me as eager to see this as I am for Pineapple Express. When was the last time you REALLY wanted to see a Ben Stiller movie? It’s been so long I don’t even remember the feeling, if I ever had it in the first place. Is this what it’s like to fall in love?

I remember being a prepubescent forced to watch Disney’s Heavy Weights at summer camp and wanting to gauge my eyes out whenever his annoying camp owner character was on the screen. I’m seeing this strictly for Robert Downey Jr.
You're insane, Retlaw. Stiller walking on broken bottles (that whole movie for that matter) is greatness. Good early signs of Apatowlogy in that movie, too. Don't hate on Heavyweights. Back on topic, this is a murderer's row of comedic talent in here.
If this is a movie about going to kill the guy who invented flash based movies, I'd watch it.

I have seen this at a recent rough cut screening and it does rock. It was one of the funniest movies I had seen in a long time. Doweny Jr. is great but there is a cameo that is almost as funny as anything Downey Jr. does… Tom Cruise!
