Paramount’s been really pushing Danny McBride in their Drillbit Taylor marketing. Could it be because pushing Owen Wilson’s just a little bit weird post-suicide attempt? Or is it just that Danny is about to explode in a pretty big way and they want to be on the forefront of that? I think it’s probably a little bit of both, but the endlessly funny clips they’ve been releasing that feature Danny are what’s really getting me psyched for this movie.
That’s why I’m so happy to have this exclusive clip of Danny explaining to Owen Wilson why stealing children’s TVs would actually be a favor to them. This guy’s delivery is just killer… and I hate that I’m apparently the only guy who writes for the web who hasn’t seen Foot Fist Way yet. What the fuck!?

For being someone I find funny you sure do confuse me by constantly going ga-ga over decidedly average comedy.
The inevitable backlash that befalls Foot Fist Way when it comes out is gonna be harsh. And when it flops (well, maybe not flops, but dies an unrecognized death and remains mostly a Comedy Central viewing), the writers for this site will exclaim how pathetic it is that 'great comedies' like FFW don't get recognized while trash like Wild Hogs makes bank. It's not the CHUD curse, it's the 'Over-opinionated Internet scribes overselling a comedy as the greatest thing since BJs when really it's just something to make you laugh for an hour and a half some rainy Sunday afternoon' curse. Seriously guys, I trust your opinion on movies, I really do, but simmer down a bit on Danny McBride and FFW. I'm already burnt out. (It was one thing when you were proclaiming the greatness of truly transcendent films like The Fountain, but now it's like every film made by a guy you once met at Comic Con has to be pimped out for years in advanced.)

I am in a strange agreement with all the previous posts. This was not funny.
No sure why there is so much manlove for this cat. I thought he was absolutely terrible in "Hot Rod".
