The first picture from the set of Public Enemies, Michael Mann’s film about John Dillinger and the FBI manhunt for him and his huge cock, has arrived. Snuck by a standerby, the picture shows Johnny Depp as Dillinger, along with his robot friend and sidekick Mr. Clankington (the real brains behind the bank robberies).
Or it’s Depp in a car with a camera focused on him. Either way, we can tell from this photo that Public Enemies will see Johnny Depp, for the first time in a while, looking like just a guy. Albeit a guy with a period hat (by which I mean it is a hat that is from a specific time in history, not that it drenches his head in menses).

Maybe the are actually taking a different angle on this and Johnny Depp is actually a "space" pirate trying to collect a bounty for a 1000 year old debt. The object next to him is not a camera but his little cyborg buddy Cyrus Borgolmew who gets Dillinger into all sort of whacky fish out of water situations, like the idea that men, back in the day, didn't have giant penises! Looking forward to this like crazy. Michael Mann and Johnny Depp is all I need to know. Still, a lot to live up to. Both the '45 & '73 versions of the story are underrated/forgotten gems. Have you seen any of those films, Devin? Curious.
