Hey Devin, you basically implied Marcus was an early terminator in all the articles anyway. When I read it I thought "hmm Devin was telling the truth". The only problem is continuity, the early temrinators had rubber skin so what's the deal here? Plus INTRODUCE Derek Reese he is a fucking sweet character. Like a tougher version of Kyle plus he has that angle where he completely hates Terminators. Kyle hates them too and it seems like Marcus and Kyle will buddy up but the twist is Marcus is a Terminator, but i thought the early ones had rubber skin…Ahhh head hurts from being McG'd.

Seems to me, Marcus can't be an *early* Terminator model, he must be 800-series if he appears to be human. We also know that Marcus is a survivor of the apocalypse who crawls out of the wreckage to become a resistance fighter, and that's all we know about him at the start. From all this, it's possible to infer the following: that Marcus was an 800-series machine sent back to the past on a mission, but somehow forgot he was a Terminator (EMP from the nukes, maybe?), and 'goes human'. OR, Skynet deliberately set it up that way as its previous missions against the Connor family had failed. So, it plants a Terminator back in the past who will then join the resistance as a surviving 'human' (his A-mission) and then turn into a killing machine when he gets close to Commander John (his B-mission). It's a stealth attack rather than a direct assault. I was always fascinated by the notion that the Terminators from T1 and T2 could well have had A- and B-missions. Say they had eliminated Sarah or John – they were still stuck in the past, so what would they have done then? After Arnie kills Ginger in T1, he *thinks* he's just killed Sarah – but you see him reloading his gun, like he's about to get started on something else. It's only when he hears Sarah on the answerphone (brilliant moment) that he switches back to his A-mission.

How hard is it for the Resistance to figure out he's a terminator? It's not like any of the others just told them. Sure, he's not actively killing them, but there's other ways.

Or is Marcus just really good with dogs? I guess maybe at that point they didn't know that yet.

Hmmm, an "early terminator model" that is actually superior in every way to Arnolds Terminator and the T-1000 in terms of holding a conversation outside of "nice night for a walk". If this guy isn't solely about destroying every goddam thing and has no "emotional" sensors(i.e. he walks and talks like everyone else so no one would guess that when he gets hit by a grenade, he doesn't die just reveal a metal endoskeleton, and a saline tear dropping from his cheek right before he murders everyone), then this timeline is just f'd. How can he be an earlier model if he can blend in way better than any Terminator we have already seen. Why the fuck would they even design any of those models we saw in the other movies. Does technology devolve in the future. MCG is a terrible director, and this WILL be a terrible movie. Why Christian Bale, why…… Was the Batman paycheck not enough? At least that series has a great director.

And now I feel like an asshole because I've just said spoilers….IF they're true, which I don't know.

So clarify for us Devin since the cat's out of the bag. Is Worthington playing a 600 series rubber skin? Or is he playing a newer model terminator sent through time at the same time as the T800 from T1 and the T1000 from T2 on a stealth mission? Or is he an experimental prototype? And Yelchin seems a little too babyfaced for this role. Reese was young, but he seemed weathered from hiding and fighting against robot since he could walk. Haven't seen him in anything yet so I can't have a valid opinion on the boy.
