I’m holding any serious thoughts about W, Ollie Stone’s upcoming dramatization of Dubya, until we see some actual footage. Stone has really fallen in my eyes and there’s nothing you can do to Bush he hasn’t already done to himself. But I’ll give Stone one thing: he’s casting pretty.
We’ve already got Josh Brolin as Bush, a move that seems entirely predicated on a stoned review of No Country For Old Men. Now the Hollywood Reporter has the stones to report that Elizabeth Banks is in talks to jump on board as Laura. I knew Oliver Stone had to be a Slither fan. Next up, Thandie Newton as Condie Rice and an arm wrestling match between Michael Chiklis and Seth Rogen for the role of Cheney.
Stone wrote the script with his Wall Street collaborator Stanley Weiser. The film begins shooting next month in Shreveport, LA.

Well before I knew this movie was happening I realized this: Nick Nolte is such a dead ringer for Rumsfeld that it's scary.
I'd bank on her, any day. I'd also like to give her a good banking.

Frankly, I think World Trade Center was way better than United 93. United 93 was good, but what happened to the WTC, to me, was far more interesting, especially all the shit that happens to them when they are trapped and can't even move. Fucking Nuts! Even Alexander, while definitely not a great movie, was so over the top and ridiculous, I find myself smiling when I watch it. Like the hawk flying silently over the one battle, or Jared Leto as Alexander's bitch/boyfriend(witness the birth of his 30 seconds to Mars look). WTF?!?! That why Stone Rocks. Even his bad movies are more daring and fucked up then pretty much any director's craziest movie. Stone is at his best when he is political and pushing buttons, so he should knock this one out of the park. Great casting so far…
Damn it. I was going to write a terrible college sex comedy about Bush's misspent youth called W. Booze, boobies and cocaine… it would have been the next American Pie… literally. What number are they up to with those DTV sequels?

WTC was daring? I'm hoping you're being sarcastic. The whole movie was done under the WTC in order to avoid any possible controversial political comment in favor of feel-good crap. And what was so 'fucked up' about concentrating on the few who were saved instead of the thousands who died in extremely fucked up ways? WTC was pure Hollywood pap.
Don't tell me you believe the WTC was an inside job…I don't like Bush or the right either, but get over yourself. It's just like Bill Clinton says it's "idiotic" to claim it was an inside job.

I don't know if 9/11 was an inside job or not. The biggest argument against it being an inside job would simply be that it was the only thing they ever pulled off competently. Then again, most of the administration's worst episodes of incompetence have tended to result in massive amounts of money going from the US government to private companies that have lots of unseemly ties to the executive branch.
The only thing more idiotic than assuming that it MUST have been an "inside job" of some description is assuming that it must NOT have been one. Are we to take the word of the Bush administration and their proxies, surrogates, and apologists on this one issue alone, when they've been proven over and over again to be lying about pretty much everything else? That seems ill-advised. They get a whole lot of mileage out of the fact that the most vocal critics of the official 9/11 story are also for the most part the craziest or most poorly researched, and therefore the easiest to mock and discredit. Of COURSE Loose Change is bullshit. Of COURSE the Jews did not "do 9/11". More credible folks asking legitimate questions without convenient answers tend to get lumped with the psychos or ignored completely.
In the interest of full disclosure, my position is that we certainly don't know enough, with any certainty, to stop asking difficult questions about that painful day – questions whose answers may be quite unappealing. There is no limits on human evil where money and power are concerned. None. When it comes to the events of 9/11, many folks unfortunately confuse "unlikely" and "impossible" in their minds.
Never mix up "unlikely" and "impossible", because that's how buildings get knocked over out of the blue in the first place.
WTC was not the movie, that Stone wanted to touch on this stuff, Bush is. All I know is at 10-11 in the morning the day this shit was happening, I was telling people at my work that we let this happen so that we could go to war. The Bush administration needed the war to improve his approval ratings, and the quickest way to get out of a recession, which we were spiraling into, is to go to war. War is an industry just like fast food or video games, it generates revenue for our country, like it or not. No one believed me. Everyone told me I that i was crazy and that our country would never let that happen, and we would never go to full scale war…… I guess they were wrong. Don't get me wrong, I don't solely dislike Bush, I think all politicians are pretty slimy. They bank on our apathy, and we feed it to them like it's going out of style. I'd be willing to bet that Stone covers the same things in his movie, and some of the stuff ol reggie wanker talks about too. Let the haterade rain down!!

To be fair, my post looks longer and more tinfoil encrusted without paragraph breaks. I have to say that Optimum Online sucks ass – almost as much as ads disguised as links in the text.
