Seriously. Apparantly “Don’t kill the messenger” was coined well after ole Leonidas ruled the violent well-oiled and abbed lands of Greece. Too bad the ladies didn’t wear the same outfits as the guys. Not that I can really complain about how much the ladies of 300 covered up. I only wish Jessica Alba had been recruited as an oracle rather than the stupid old Invisible Girl.
If they are gonna continue this Frank Miller movie madness I hope they get around to Hard Boiled. Between dogs with laser beams coming out of their eyes, robot sexuality and approximately 1 trillion ejected hi-caliber shells lovingly rendered in CG it would be about the best thing ever. Except perhaps The Dark Knight Returns of course. But like that’s gonna happen.
