2K Games has announced that the PS3 version of Bioshock has gone gold (which means that it is ready to be manufactured, and thismuchcloser to stores). Those of you who can’t wait till late October to grab the game will have to be satiated by the demo, which will be hitting the Playstation Network this Thursday.
If you missed out on the Xbox 360 or PC iterations (what’s wrong with you?), this is the one to own. It’s going to have a couple of new features, such as a Survivor difficulty mode which will put you against even tougher enemies, and Challenge Rooms that will be available as DLC and force gamers to utilize all sorts of plasmids and skills to survive. The game will also contain Trophy support.
October 21st is when North Americans can grab it for themselves and see what all the hype was about, and why Bioshock was the best game of last year.

"Where would CHUD be"? A site without an overabundance of effort to appeal to the small demographic of overlap served by putting wayyyyyy too many gaming articles on a film-centric web site. Why not help out BOOM and include some 'furrytastic' coverage as well while you're at it.
It's supposed to look exactly the same as the xbox 360 version, splicer. Which ain't bad at all, although I know people were hoping for a little bit of a boost.
Where the fuck would a "graphical boost" come in this game, anyway? It was pretty much perfect, graphically. None of the texture pop-in of other Unreal Engine games, and everything looked, well… good. Too bad it's being released on the same day as LittleBigPlanet.
so uh, wheres the incentive to buy this instead of picking it up for xbox for 20 bucks?
The challenge rooms are DLC? Hopefully there is a chance of those coming over to the 360. Im looking for any excuse to play through this again.
Great game with a weak twist pertaining to your character. Overall, glad I paid thirty bucks for it a few months ago.
