Remember that original masterful Gears of War trailer? The one that brought back the Tears for Fears Mad World cover made famous in Donny Darko and turned out another haunting, almost poetic experience? They threw all that crap out the window for Gears of War 2.

new launch trailer for the game shows everything they want you to know
about the sequel- there’s more, more, more. More weapons, more
violence, more enemies. These next few months are packed to the brim
with AAA titles, but even with LittleBigPlanet and Fallout 3 completely sucking away everyone’s time right now (that game is as amazing as you’ve heard) Gears is definitely going to be getting some serious co-op gameplay when it hits on November 7th.

Been playing it co-op for a week now at a friends place. MUCH MUCH better than the first one which was boring as fuck. Graphics look better even in co-op split screen, enemies are cooler, many more tactic's available and there's a level inside the belly of giant worm thingy. Pretty sweet. Characters are still laughable cardboard cut outs but you can't win em all..
I can't freakin' WAIT for this. I don't buy games often, but I saved up for this one. It looks like it's leaps and bounds past the original, which to me, was an incredible gaming experience. Love it.
They have another "melo" trailer by the same crew that did the "Mad World" spot for the first Gears. FYI.
