In an alternate universe, Wayne Kramer’s Crossing Over is an epic Detroit rock album about psychic John Edwards (who ran for president but got caught fucking around on his cancerous wife).
But in this universe it’s the latest film from the madman behind Running Scared, an illegal alien drama starring Harrison Ford and Ashley Judd. Crossing Over has a new trailer, and I have to admit that it makes me worried. Is this just Crash II: Crashing the Border?
Make up your mind when the film comes out next month (in time to bait some Oscar, although in true The Weinstein Company fashion, I can’t even find a real poster for the film). In the meantime, check out the trailer right here.

"We're moving it to January. The market is just too crowded. Every week there are five more movies coming out. It's too crazy. Spring is much better–there are a lot more wide-open dates. The most important thing is to do well by the movie. Having it out in January gives us the opportunity to play the film at the Sundance and Berlin film festivals, which will be a big help to the movie." -Harvey Weinstein on the release date http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/the_big_picture/2008/10/
Damn you got SCOOPED by Colin. Snap!
So how long since Ford passed on Traffic? 8 years? Did he finally fire his career adviser?
HaHa. The first paragraph is hilarious, Dev!
GET OFF MY LAND
who cares about illegals, when theres a new atchmen trailer on yahoo! blah blah blah…
Looks pretty intense – but I do agree is this Crash(2). I like good emotional drama but this looks like a waste of Han solo's ( sorry just a joke) time. Just a filler movie in my opinion till I see anything else.
Yeah, very Crash-y looking.
