That Ron Howard sure is a happy, chatty guy. Speaking to Maxim while doing press for Frost/Nixon Howard got positively bubbly when the topic of an Arrested Development movie was broached. (Or perhaps he’d been bubbly the whole time; I’ve only seen this clip.)
Basically, Howard says it’s ‘looking very promising’, but admits there’s no script. Howard is under the impression that Hurwitz has the time and energy to make it happen, and says ‘the studio is interested’. All of which adds up to the big fat ball of ‘maybe’ that has been rolling around for months like it has a little prince of the cosmos keeping it in motion. Roll up David Cross next, little prince! I bet he’ll scream with gusto.

From that interview, I'm starting to wonder if Tobias Funke isn't just a clever rip on Ron Howard.
Ron Howard did The Grinch…….Fuck Ron Howard!
Holy Crap!!! Is that Maxim thing supposed to induce seizures or at least a really bad head ache.
Speaking of Nixon, Howard and Tambor and Bateman and whoever else are all going on my enemies list if they don't stop getting my hopes up about an AD movie every few weeks. It makes me feel like that kid that found the severed hand.
Yea, an AD movie won't happen. Ever. That's a fact.
If Ron wants to stay in my good graces he could think about actually directing the film.
It's a fact? Ok, please provide evidence to prove this fact you rotting douche.
Just make the damn movie! Doesn't everyone make their money back in DVD and Rental sales anyway!
