Is it me or is The Rock kind of acting like Eddie Murphy or some other annoying black comedian in this trailer?

On the one hand, it's nice to see The Rock working. On the other hand, is it too much to ask to see him in something, well, for adults? He's been the best part of at least 4 or 5 mediocre-to-terrible movies (no idea if this is one of those), and it seems like the guy is due for another Rundown.

Well, he's got the smartass dialogue but it's not like he's coming across like Chris Tucker. Maybe the just threw all his character's one-liners in the trailer.

actually this kinda looks like a step-up for horrible unnecessary Disney remakes.

David Oliver, to answer a point made in your article, I recommend not re-watching the original Witch Mountain if you want to retain your fond memories of it. It is a badly made mess at even the most fundamental level, i.e. scenes that don't cut together properly type of stuff. Are other Disney films from that period so shoddily done?
