The trailer for Kick Ass is now officially online, and the first half of it is sublime. The second half is less great, but you have to set up the concept – kids with no super powers acting like superheroes, despite the obvious physical consequences – for the marks in the audience. And a green band trailer simply can’t get across the best stuff that we saw at Comic Con, like Hit Girl just slaughtering a roomful of guys. After all, she’s ten.

Yeah, fun little teaser. I've never seen the Comic Con footage — maybe it didn't even make its way to the internet — but still, it was fun.
Will have to say I was less impressed with the comics than I was with the idea behind them. I'll give it my admission, but, am not holding out hope that it is either good, or understood by it's audience.
