I’m now fully convinced that most filmmakers trying to make exploitation films have never seen any in their life.
Take for example the upcoming Bitch Slap, billed as a throwback to exploitation films that’s supposedly inspired by Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill and Kung Fu Nun, but looks more like a low-rent Jerry Bruckheimer ripoff. The ever-present green screen and dramatic Michael Bay music doesn’t help things. But hey, rip off a few Tarantino lines and made an appropriate poster and you’ve got your very own grindhouse film!
Still, you could do a lot worse today than watch a lot of cleavage bouncing around and an Asian school girl ride another girl like a dog. Check out the trailer for Bitch Slap on the Apple site here.

Anyone else notice this film has pretty much all the main actors from Hercules and Xena in it?
The Robo-Geshia trailer is way more entertaining that this crappy trailer. I still probably watch this movie though, since I do enjoy really bad movies.
