District B-13 was quite a fun film. Devin loved the original (
review) when it hit our shores three years ago, and now the sequel
District 13: Ultimatum (why the District dropped the “B” is anyone’s guess) is on its way. Magnet is releasing it as part of their second
Six Shooter Films lineup and it will be available on VOD January 1st, with a limited theatrical run starting on February 5th. Here’s the brand new poster for the film-
The first film started off with an amazing parkour chase sequence that was easily the best part of the whole thing (which I don’t think was nearly as effective as Dev made it out to be), so hopefully they can focus more on the action set-pieces this time. Check out the French trailer below for an idea of some of the insane stunts we can expect.

The "B" in B-13 was for Banlieue, which means District. So saying District Banlieue 13 is like saying PIN Number. Geddit?
Ahhh. Thanks, wasn't aware. LOL out loud.
Is it just me, or is that a really stupid poster?
I hear this new "parkour" thing is quite the up and coming thing! Just the sort of thing to reinvigorate the action film medium and take things in a bold new direction! Thing!
I won't see this unless Ray Stevenson is there with a rocket launcher.
dont get too exited. this film is kind of fun in a goofy way, got some cool fighting and a bit of parkeur, but not enough, and the end is really lame. not as exiting and gritty as the first one.
sounds like the same problem with the first one. great character set-ups but a failure when everything tries to come together in the end.
