Yahoo debuted the poster (see it in full-res over there) this morning and we can see that, aside from the brushed blue steel being exchanged for blue clouds, they’re essentially sticking with the successful aesthetic from the first film’s posters. If it ain’t broke and all.

For the twitterers out there, if you’re not following Jon Favreau’s twitter feed, you should be- he’s just as delightful a gentleman in 140 characters. It wasn’t too long ago that he coyly retweeted a woman’s request for a trailer that specifically mentioned Sherlock Holmes– so keep your eyes peeled in the theater around the holidays…
