I get wanting to make your wedding personal. You want to inject something of yourself into the proceedings and not just have a generic ceremony and reception. But acting out scenes from Superman II? That’s what one groom did, having his friend invade the reception as General Zod and terrorize the guests – at least until the groom threw off his secret identity and came in as Anemic Superman.
On the one hand, this is a well choreographed skit. On the other, it’s five minutes of bizarre nerdery. Everybody seems to get into it at the end, though – except the baffled bride.

Those two are headed for divorce. That's a promise.
I'm feeling heaps embarrassed right now, having just watched that. Ick. Scrapping my plans for the "oops, I saved Harvey instead" Batman pantomime I was planning for my wedding.
"KNEEEEEL before shit!"
Hmmmm…yeah… I think I will take the Elvis impersonator, Blind Blues Band, Ape and Clown my brother had it his wedding instead.
Only reason that women married that Geek is for the security, shes probably boning Ben Affleck on the side.
It's like bad shakespear in the park meets bad pro wrestling at a bad wedding.
Wtf… theres nerdy things to do… and there's just plain stupid. That was the latter for sure.
This was fucking AWESOME. And by awesome, I mean fucking retarded.
so nerdy they couldn't get a chick to play one of Zods partners, even at a wedding!
Okay, lighten up. This was sweet (and epically dorky) and they will be able to look back at this moment and smile.
Their kids will be able to look back at this moment and understand why they get their asses kicked at school on a daily basis. I've seen too many kids that are brought up in two-geek/gamer parent homes that will just never stand a chance in life…
Zod really let himself go while in the phantom zone
I'm posting here again.
