This morning at an Invictus press conference Matt Damon reiterated to reporters what everybody already knew about a fourth Bourne film:
“When [Greengrass] wants to do one, we’ll do it.”
Considering that Greengrass earlier this week announced he was off the project, it would seem that Damon’s quote puts the nail in the coffin of the Bourne series.
Damon’s not so down on it all, though: “But I think it’ll happen down the road. We just don’t have a script yet.”
I think he’s probably right. Greengrass can be coaxed back, it could just take some time.

Shut the fuck up
Ben Affleck is the most talented director working today, In many ways his films define this decade. When making Avatar James Cameron would regularly call Affleck for advice, simply becuase Affleck has revolutionized the film industry from the ground up. His is a rags to riches story beyond any other, his is the story of modern Hollywood.
Having lived through such drought of creativity (the 1990s were a terrible decade for film) Its good to see REAL directors like Affleck are here to show all these pansies how its done.
I was done with film until Affleck came along. He has single-handedly revived a dead medium and made it the most vibrant art form of the post-Schwarzenagger era. Without him there is nothing. NOTHING!
Affleck's filmic vision shall tear us asunder, then make us whole again.
Yeah, Affleck brought me back to film after almost 15 years away. I had given up on the medium. It's a brave new world.
The only way I'd be interested in Bourne 4 would be if it was called The Bourne Singularity and it had Matt Damon going into space to fight a black hole.
But only if the black hole jumps out a window to his death to keep from getting captured.
And then starts spewing out chunks of the Narada
And Ben Affleck shows up with a bunch of hot shot oil rig drillers who are there to drill down to the singularity to save Bourne.
