We’ve already seen her briefly beating up criminals in the trailer (at 1:17) and even seen her origin story in this clip. But now we can see Hit Girl doing what everyone else in Kick-Ass loves to do- stare out at evildoers at the top of a skyscraper.
I never really understood the affinity comic book heroes have for skyscrapers. Can you really see what’s going on in the city from the top of one? How long would it take to get down to the ground to stop a crime? Besides, the places with skyscrapers are usually more affluent than the neighborhoods that have all the crime; surely there are better vantage points and areas they can be patrolling? But I digress…
IGN just debuted her poster, so head on over there to check it out in high res, and lament that we have to wait four more months to see the film.

Oh look, it's another poster that will have general moviegoers scratching their heads. "What is this 'Hit-Girl' movie? Why should I care?" I hope Lionsgate isn't fucking up the marketing for this, especially if it's as great as everyone says. Anyway, it looks like "Kick-Ass" is turning into the next great Geek War after "Avatar" subsides.

Oh it's another moron who has no grasp on marketing. The movie doesn't come out for months, this is a good way to ease people into the idea of Kick-Ass. Then they see the trailer that will be blanketing the digital waves, "Oh that girl is Hit Girl I saw in the poster. Cool!" At least you're not as utterly devoid of thought, like RinTinTinFail.

How do you go from cheering on an ass kicking 12yr old girl to jerking off to her? Are parents at soccer games jerking off to their children after the games? I know some people intend to protect vulnerable children. At some point, this protection becomes over protection and corrupts what's actually pretty innocent. I don't think Hit Girl's look could be any less exploitative.
