Adam Green’s Frozen is coming to us fast after its widely successful BNAT screening- just about six more weeks and everyone can see it for themselves!
To give you a better idea of what you’re in for, the trailer for the film has just popped up on Apple.
The one problem to making a trailer for a movie like this is that when you have a movie about three protagonists forced into a survival situation, showing anything happening to them sort of ruins the suspense. This trailer does reveal quite a bit more than I would have liked to have known before seeing it so watch at your own risk- although it does look really good.
A typical day on the slopes turns into a chilling nightmare for three snowboarders when they get stranded on the chairlift before their last run. As the ski patrol switches off the night lights, they realize with growing panic that they’ve been left behind dangling high off the ground with no way down.
With the resort closed until the following weekend and frostbite and hypothermia already setting in, the trio is forced to take desperate measures to escape off the mountain before they freeze to death. Once they make their move, they discover with horror that they have much more to fear than just the frigid cold. As they combat unexpected obstacles, they start to question if their will to survive is strong enough to overcome the worst ways to die?
Frozen hits theaters on February 5th.

Yeah, I see exactly what you're getting at, it shows both sides of the coin that these guys are dealing with. However, it really downplays their second 'problem' and I bet people who see this trailer will not be expecting that particular element to play as big of a part as it seems like it might. And that is one motherf@#$ing effective trailer.
That came off really silly to me. Maybe a film like this is more effective in an environment where you see it knowing absolutely zilch about it. Looks like rental material, at best.
Here's a funny thing. Shawn Ashmore's in that movie, and he was Iceman in the X-men films.
Yeah, nothing screams "really good" like critical remarks from the likes of Harry Knowles and bloody-disgusting.com.
