The third trailer for Breck Eisner’s remake of Romero’s The Crazies has hit, and this one might be the most effective yet. It’s definitely the shortest, but it has everything you need to know- society has crumbled, and you’re about to see how it all started. It’s weird how the first trailer actually spoiled more of the film… usually the trailers closer to release are the ones to do that.

already with 'the happening' remakes.. glad they got rid of the wind monster, viruses are scarier..
It's not a remake of The Happening, not even close. Just a remake of the original Crazies from '73. Looks really good too.

This looks good and I usually am an avid hater of ANY remake. The only one I've liked recently was Last House on the Left. Olyphant gets major points in my book. Hoping this doesn't disappoint.
That image of the guy walking into the outfield with the shotgun in broad daylight has such a classic Stephen King vibe to it. Looks good.
While I agree it looks all right (and yeah, that image felt very King-ish), part of what I liked about The Crazies was that towards the end it became harder to tell if someone was behaving a certain way because they were sick, or just reacting to the situation. I dont think this will have the same ambiguity with them looking somewhat zombie and all.rr6q5q
