I’m not sure why this was chosen to be the first clip from Frozen, Adam Green’s new movie about a trio of skiiers trapped on a ski lift, since it doesn’t capture any of the dread and terror that the movie has in its second half. Then again, with just three characters it’s almost impossible to show much from that half without spoiling. But there are wolves in that half of the film and I think they should have figured out how to show us some wolf action.
At any rate, here are our three leads making a terrible decision to try and get one last run on the mountain before the resort closes for the night… and the week.

This looks like it could almost be a play. Except for the wolves. The rule of thumb is that you never put live, feral animals on stage.
Oh, douchebags die on a ski-lift… How…………………….sad….?
Wow, that looks really… not very interesting.
What's the drama in this movie? I want them all to die and they do.
It's like Open Water but the sharks CAN FLY.
I looked up the trailer on YouTube and it does look interesting. The problem with movies like this is they almost always hinge on an entirely unbelievable premise – as if the overweight ski-lift worker whom the trio paid $100 wouldn't mention to someone that he gave three people one last run up the lift before they shut it down. The movie will probably try to explain it away by portraying his character as "not wanting to lose his job" or something like that when in reality, involuntary manslaughter is a heck of a lot worse than being fired. Or they'll set up the entire story on something equally (or even more) lame. I'm still waiting for a horror movie or a thriller that's written intelligently and doesn't smack me in the face with stupid.
