You’ve waited almost thirty years for Tron Legacy, so what’s a few months more? The movie isn’t hitting until the end of 2010, but Disney has already begun a steady leak of images and concept art; by the time Comic Con rolls around we should be inundated with material.
Today we have the first good look at Jeff Bridges in the film; Bridges returns as Flynn, only in this film he’s been living in the computer world for years, and his son is forced to come in and find him. This new pic shows off the physicality of Tron Legacy – surprisingly much of the film was shot on sets as opposed to green screens.

Awe with a side of Some.
I am looking forward to this movie soooo much! (Is that a disc on his back?)
How is this a first look when we already saw him in the trailer? Anybody? That's what I thought.
Nice… a sequel no one asked for, to a movie that is over-rated…. Nick
That wasn't the trailer that we saw before. It was an early test reel put together to convince Disney that a sequel would be a viable investment. The overwhelmingly positive response at Comic-Con 2008 to that reel is essentially what got this film greenlit.

Nice… a comment no one asked for, about a movie you don't have to see…
Take your pills and relax, buddy.
I know a lot of it is going to be CG now, but I always thought one of the cool concepts of the original Tron was they did this whole computer world using real world sets and props as opposed to making it animated. It was probably more out of necessity than anything, but I like to think about it.
wasn't bridges in the teaser trailer?
This picture changes everything!
That looks like a disc to me!
Photorealistic!!
I wonder if this'll be as terrifyingly boring as the first one.
HELL YES!
Can't wait for this. Most everyone I know are indifferent/bored by the first one, but they just don't fucking get it. Nor do they appreciate or understand Tron's impact on many artists working today in movies, games, and other visual media.
First, big fan of the original. Second, I work for the company who's making the toys based on the movie, and I'll just say this: the design of everything is bad-ass. From the vehicles to costumes to the sets. At the very least it will be a visual treat, (dare I say it?!?) unlike any we've seen before.
I hope.
This is actually a photo from Iron Man 2. Jeff Bridges has gone clown shit insane, and fashioned a Tony Stark Metallic chest protector onto his pyjamas, but put them on backwards by mistake. Now he feels sad.
Mmmm … minimal green screen makes me happy.
Oh, and ROFL @16.
