I wonder if the Union website created for Repo Men marketing is indicative of the movie’s tone. This website, which is from the company that will sell you artificial organs (and then repossess them if you don’t make your payments), feels very tongue in cheek and darkly satiric. There’s a real Robocop vibe to the level of satire, in fact – especially if you watch the Home Shopping Network video and see the out of control mattress commercial.
Head over to the Union site right here and click around; this little bit of marketing is getting me much more interested in the film.

It's great to see HSN get a shout out and not those bandwagon jumpers at QVC.
If this is already a thing people are saying, fuck me, but.
Is is just me, or did we make this movie last year and call it "Repo: The Genetic Opera?"
Don't forget to use TOOTIE!
@Teague: exactly what I was thinking.
Who the hell saw Repo: The Genetic Opera?
I really want some jack soda.
@5: I did. It sucked.
Based on an interview I read with the author (which prompted me to read the book), it seems the movie pretty closely mirrors the book's satiric humor.
repo the genetic opera may be the worst movie ive ever seen in my entire life.
Personally I loved the replacement eye being able to "view 3D movies without the aid of glasses". Someone has a sense of irony at least…
