A new red-band trailer for Kick-Ass has emerged, showing off even more of the brutal moments from the film.
As excited as I am about the film I feel like there’s almost been too much of it shown off already. While everyone I’ve talked with about the green band trailer hasn’t seem too excited about it, that one Nic Cage clip has been proven to change minds completely, and at this point everyone who’s going to be sold on this film has already been sold.
Regardless, check out Kick-Ass getting into more fights, fantasizing about his teacher, and getting ripped on by a ten year old girl.

I am so seeing this movie
fuck yeah I am going to see this movie
I want to see this movie less and less with every "new" trailer. Add 50 pounds to the kid making deposits in the "Whack-off Warehouse," and instead of fantasies involving his English teacher they're fantasies with a 10 year old girl in make up saying "cock," and you have the target audience for this potential crapfest. I'll wait on the word-of-mouth from the non perv crowd before I rent this on DvD.
Please do Thaimyshu; why take the word-of-mouth from a movie website you frequent.
This movie can't start soon enough! I'm a big fan of Mark Millar from his work on "The Authority", and of Matthew Vaughn. I'm as excited for this as I am for IM2!
this is fly-paper for fanboys
meh, still not sold. hope for the best though. 10/10 you say, Devin? We'll see……
Devin's 10/10 is pure idiocy.
comment #3-what you`re saying is even though you don`t want to see it based on your own opinions (which is fine of course), you`ll see it based on what others think and say about it? if you`re THAT on the fence about it, how about possibly checking out the comic first (which was just collected in hardcover this week) and maybe see it or don`t see it based on that, as at least you`d have more of idea of what the movie`s going for. it might spoil some of the story for you (which devin already spoiled a lot of in his review), but your friends or whoever would have done it anyway. the "i won`t see it until someone tells me to see it" stance is pretty weak.
The Watchmen had the same fan craze as this movie and look how that turned out. It looks decent and I might see it but the mainstream audience might ignore it. Wish it didnt have nicholas cage in it though…why does this guy have a hard on for superhero movies…hes not good in them
@#3: Uh dude, I think it's you with the Hitgirl sex obsession. Look to the left for the Salma Hayek thread to see what the rest of us lame fanboys want in a female. Clue: 10 year old girls don't have them.
The more I see of this the more I'm convinced the Kick Ass character will be the one who's fun and the Hit Girl character will come off like an overly contrived fanboy-seeking gimmick missile. Like she's at least "new" and "original" to as much of an extent as it's possible to be in these "everything's been done five hundred times" times, but from the clips her delivery's not up to scratch so the film seems to be trying too hard instead of having it feel natural. Like there is a way to make the idea behind that character pop, but this movie hasn't nailed it.
