I was checking IMDB for some background on Jonah Hill and was kind of taken aback by the sheer number of credits he’s racked up since 2004. The dude’s definitely keeping busy; and he’s just added Michael De Luca’s The Sitter to his queue. David Gordon Green is in talks to direct, according to THR.com.
The story follows a college student, suspended for the
semester and living at home with his single mom, who has a night to
remember when he gets talked into baby-sitting the eccentric kids
next door: two boys and a wild 8-year-old girl. Unless the kids are saying “fuck” every other word, chances are I might not be catching that one. Nevertheless, Hill also has Cyrus with John C. Reilly on July 9th, How To Train Your Dragon March 26th and Get Him To The Greek with Russell Brand on June 4th.

sounds like a remake of adventures in babysitting
It's David Gordon Green, man. The guy has yet to make a bad movie. But this sounds like it has a steep hill to climb to impress me, starting with changing that title.
I love him in a lot of movies, but I'm taken a back by how many people just flat out hate him. I always think of the 30 Rock quote, "Did he just talk to me like I'm ugly?" I think people hate when Jonah acts like a dick like he is somehow not entitled because of his weight.
I think they hate him because he's too close to what they are/were physically and he seems to have a much better life than them because he knows people who "get his jokes". Hill works because he's that rare creature who isn't pretending to be anything other than what he is, and still goes for the win. That's a position of strength in a world where even the prettiest, funniest folk are full of self doubt.
Jonah's great! Want scientific proof? Here's some. By some horrific planetary alignment I found myself in front of Night At The Museum 2 a couple of nights ago and anyone who can shine like he does amongst that kind of inane crap is something a little bit special.
I also laughed at Hill in NatM2:BotS (or whatever), and nothing else.
