Mass Effect 2’s already immense galaxy is about to get 5 missions bigger, according to a Cerberus Network announcement detailing the game’s upcoming Hovertank DLC. BioWare announced the “Hammerhead” vehicle back in early January, but now we’re getting some specifics, along with a screenshot of the vehicle cruising across some sort of noxious pit:

The Hammerhead’s a “heavy assault vehicle that hovers over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometers per hour and features a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive maneuvering.” The DLC won’t cost a dime, provided that you bought the game new and have access to the Cerberus Network.
Expect the Hammerhead to show up in late March.

For those of us who went through ME2 already, does this affect our playthroughs? I know we can keep going, but what's the point of additional experience if The Collectors are already defeated? Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but … meh.
I guess you could play it just to play it, or you could fire up a new campaign. I didn't find the collectors all that menacing to begin with.
Plan for ME3, part of your 2nd or more playthrough, etc.
if you plunked down the 60 bucks to play a bioware game ONCE… well then I feel sorry for you.
Dustin, been through it twice already, once Paragon, once Renegade. I plan on a third playthrough, but most of the magic is gone.
