One of the earliest pieces of production design that I truly loved, the time portal map from Time Bandits is just a cool looking piece of art. And now it can be yours – Boing Boing has hooked up with a guy who has made a precise recreation of the map, as seen in the movie, and has printed it on high quality canvass. That means this isn’t a cheapie item – you’re looking at 100 clams here – but something as cool as this deserves to be printed in extraordinarily high quality.

Thanks to the good Mr. Calkins for the heads up.

a Hundred clams? yikes. Ilike Tb, but not that much. Kudos for them making something like this for the hard core fans, though. I got a Goonies score coming, so I unnerstand!
Fuck yea! I will probably buy that shit. That was my favorite movie as a kid.
If I had more $$ or it was 1/2 the price I'd be snagging that in a heartbeat; not even that big a TB fan but thats pretty cool.
Wow, that would actually be really cool. Time Bandits was a staple of my childhood. The only problem is that the "real" map was all scuffed up and used. When it's all clean and flawless, it doesn't look right.
Well, it was clean and flawless at some point… rub it in the dirt or something.
THANK YOU DEVIN for giving this some airtime! I bought one of these a couple of years ago, and it's the GREATEST FAN-MADE PROP REPLICA EVER. Seriously, the level of detail on this thing beggars description. And it's printed on REAL CANVAS, just like in the movie, so it's got that heft you can't get with flimsy paper. If you're a fan of the movie (okay, a RABID fan, like me), pony up the cash and enjoy.
Bought, this is too cool. Will be worth $500 the day after he stops making them 😉 Not that I care, it'll be framed on my wall forever.
I'd like to get mine signed by David Warner and Terry Gilliam. Pretty much, this is The Most Fabulous Object in the World.
