Bill Murray appeared on David Letterman in interesting garb last night and surprise surprise, he was asked about Ghostbusters 3. As you’d expect, he’s as sick of being asked about it as anyone, and went into his usual spiel about how he wants to get killed off in the first reel. He mentions how they wrote the script around his request, but the interesting thing though is that he says that the movie is just “crazy talk”. Is he just trying to stave off more questions about the film?
Also interesting is that he says he had fun making the disappointing Ghostbusters video game (review), even though sadly none of that translated to his voice acting.

I rather enjoyed the game. A bit short maybe, but fun. Better than Ghostbusters II at the least.
That game was definitely badass, with flaws and all. I blame the voice director's fault, not Bill's. It's his responsibility to make sure the recording is spot on.
The game was amazing. As a huge fan of the movies, the game was everything i could ever want out of a gb game. Almost a year later and i still find myself playing through the game quite often. Yeah, its short, but i really think its a case of quality over quantity
Oh yes, let's bring on the Ghostbusters II bashing. Or rather let's not. Go back and watch it the film if you haven't seen it for sometime and I promise you you'll be entertained. Sure it's quite up to the original's standards – but then geez Louise what is?! – but it's damned entertaining. And why? Becuase of the CHARACTERS. Sequels then we're better then mostly due on the strength of the characters – so even though the story/plot may have been a little weaker we still get to spend a couple more hours in the company of Egon, Ray, Pete and Winston. There are still some great moments and lines in there. I just think they should have kept one line especially for this 3rd installment – "Suck in the guts, guys, we're the Ghostbusters."
Saw this yesterday at aicn… Still sore over GB2's treatment. I read once that his experience making that movie was the sole reason for the long delay in GB3 development. Now the man's willing to do it, probably for the paycheck and nothing more. GB2's definitely not as good as the first movie, not by a long shot, but as a sequel it's not terrible like so many of them end up being. As for the game, it's a hell of a good start for gb on the consoles, though the story is pretty lame to me. You'll find better in the cartoon series. It's about on par with season 3 episodes when the series went downhill.
Well, if you click the review link, they reviewed the Wii version. I suspect all the above comments saying the game was solid played the 360/PS3 version.
