This is more of a blurb than anything else, but THR.com has it that Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is being pushed back from its planned April 23rd release date to September 24th by Fox. No reason such as additional shooting was given. This move means that the film will go from competing opening weekend against The Losers and MacGruber to You Again, which stars Kristen Bell and Sigourney Weaver.
It also begs the question as to whether or not Fox has doubts about its viability considering that September is usually one of the deader spots of the release year.

Raises the question, maybe.
I was hoping they would move it. We're less than two months away from this weird little experiment of a movie, and it's not like they're promoting it at all. I knew it needed more time.
Presuming this doesn't mean anything disastrous. The original WALL STREET had a fall opening too.
Hmmm, is a big court case due to fall around that time? Something that will push all this to the forefront of the public consciousness?

So they are making in 3D, huh? Gekko's spittle will be awesome in 3D. Smart move. And I bet he starts throwing money at the audience in an epic climax. Can't wait!
Maybe there shoots involving Charlie Sheen since he was in trouble recently and as a result, maybe his legal troubles caused the Director of this movie to push it back so as to fit Bud Fox in the movie in perhaps a bigger role??? Must we always think the worst for movies in production when it comes to minor things like this??? Every movie probably has reshoots at some point..
