Earlier today the magnificent trailer for HBO’s Treme graced us all, and now they’ve followed up with a new 1 minute teaser for Terrence Winter and Martin Scorsese’s Boardwalk Empire. The beauty of this is that it brought to my attention the first 1 minute teaser for Boardwalk Empire, embedded along with the newer one below.
This is an HBO series that has some of the best writers and directors of the Sopranos regime, moving over to tackle prohibition era gangsters, guided by the hand of Marty Scorsese. What the fuck else would I possibly need to tell you?
Boardwalk Empire is an upcoming American television series from premium cable network HBO, set in Atlantic City, New Jersey during the Prohibition era. The show is adapted from Nelson Johnson’s book, Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City by Emmy award-winning screenwriter and producer Terence Winter of The Sopranos.
The pilot episode was directed by Martin Scorsese and he is expected to continue to be creatively involved in the ongoing production. On September 1, 2009, HBO picked up the series for an additional 11 episodes, making the first season 12 episodes long, including the pilot. HBO has stated that the series will debut in the fall of 2010.

looks absolutely spectacular, between this and the pacific I may actually have to renew my subscription
Holy shit? Buscemi? Michael Pitt? Laura Silverman? Michael Shannon? Muthafuckin OMAR??? And Did I see Michael Shannon? This could be the best series ever made.
The first trailer looked cool, but the second one really sold it for me. Great, great cast and pedigree. Omar. Fuck yeah. P.S. please fix the verification system on the comments.
Wow. Yeah, Shannon really suits the look of the time. Hasn't been nearly enough Buscemi around in recent years.
I think the wire is really good and I really like the sopranos. Tom Cruise is better than both.
—As estimates of 'peacetime' genocide
decades AFTER WW2 in Hollywood's 'fave' franchise slum and
cheap labor source ACROSS the Pacific
swell beyond 80 MILLION
—AND as BOTH the 20th anniversary
of the Tiennamen Massacre AND the
urgently relevant 60th anniversary of
the KOREAN WAR are, AGAIN, 'mysteriously overlooked' —
STILL MORE pointless, anachronistic,
DONE TO DEATH mafia 'product'

—–LOL!!!!
Scorsese, once promising and compelling, has MADE his money and
been stale since 'GoodFellas' two
decades ago.
As he, and the rest of Boomer Hollywood, have soldout to franchise-slum RED China gangster-eugenics
values —he should, in the light of
our national collapse, have the grace
to RETIRE.
AMEN
