You know, it isn’t that big a stretch for me to imagine Sigourney Weaver as a vampire. I mean, just look at her. I’m already buying that she’s immortal. If she is, then art will be imitating life as she’s just signed on to Amy heckerling’s latest, Vamps. The romantic horror-comedy focuses on beautiful young vampires (Alicia Silverstone and Krysten
Ritter) who are living the good nightlife in New York until love enters
the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their
immortality. The UTA-repped Weaver, coming off of Avatar, will play Ciccerus, the
bloodthirsty vampire who turned the two ladies into creatures of the
night.
The project will reunite Silverstone with Heckerling for the first time since 1995’s Clueless. The project is looking to begin shooting in late April. Meanwhile, Weaver has Crazy on the Outside with Ray Liotta and Tim Allen upcoming, as well as several other projects, including Ghostbusters III on the horizon.

Alicia Silverstone is going to star in a movie?! A movie that's going to THEATERS, judging by its ability to corral Weaver into a major part? I had to check the date, but as far as I can tell, this isn't 1997. What the hell?
Young? Silverstone?! she's 33, practically as old as Weaver!
Weaver has still got it. I'd totally baste that.
Yeah, 33 and 60 are practically the same age.
Silverstone and Heckerling reunited FINALLY?!?!?!? AFTER ALL THIS TIME???!??! HOLY CRAP SIGN ME UP?
Well, I'm let down that this isn't an Aliens-style sequel to the Grace Jones movie Vamp. THIS TIME THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF GRACE JONESES! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
Why didn't you just title the piece "Sigourney Weaver to Star in Terrible Film"

I don't know that any movie can actually "star" Alicia Sliverstone
Alicia was seriously good in Crush. It's finally time for her comeback.
Wow, other movies must have been truly bad when Pouty Bottoms McSilverstone was considered a big deal. Crush and Clueless just ain't that good, though I do love the smackdown Cary Elwes lays on that shrieking bitch right at the end of Crush.
