Is being really funny enough in this day and age? The trailer for Get Him to the Greek was very funny, and this red band trailer – sort of a filthied up version of that green band – is also very funny. But is Russell Brand a draw for audiences? Is Jonah Hill? It’s easy to forget that once upon a time nobody knew who Steve Carrell or Seth Rogen were either.

nooo, my 18th birthday is tomorrow… so I have to wait till then to watch it since it won't let me. Unless I lied about my age… but, who lie's on the internet.. no way I'm going to be the first to do that…

Begin really funny is enough in this day and age, but if you think this trailer is "really funny" with its images of Jonah Hill running around drunk, smashing into things joking about his ass then you're probably as intelligent as a creationist. Neither Brand, nor Hill should ever be compared to Rogen or Carrell. If nothing else, this can't be disputed.

I would have never thought that I would actually hate Russell Brand. I mean, I don't find him funny, but I've never hated the guy. I find him to be annoying as a comedian, but he's probably an alright guy when he's not doing his shtick. But watching this trailer made me want to hate him…hate him so much that I want to drop kick him in his fucking grill!!! …Damn, I feel such guilt for feeling this way, but I seriously want to kick his fucking teeth in right now — and my passport is in order, sooooo….

well, i heard NY premier was indeed a success, lots of people love the movie, and it is getting a lot of great feed backs from reviewers and bloggers
