Now it could be, when all is said and done, that Stretch Armstrong, the upcoming movie based on a Kenner toy that hasn’t been popular in roughly two Taylor Lautner lifespans, could end up being a delight. Not putting money on it, but hey, shit happens, right? Well, the film got some notable guys to sit behind the camera and the computer to try to make that happen. Director Rob Letterman (Monsters vs. Aliens) and writer-director Nick Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) have come aboard the film, said THR.com.
Letterman just recently wrapped Jack Black’s Gulliver’s Travels, which Stoller also worked on as a writer. Meanwhile, Stoller also wrote and directed the Judd Apatow-produced Get Him To The Greek.

Stretch Armstrong was relatively popular when I was a kid and I'm 22. I still vaguely remember the commercials for it
