If I knew even 1% of what’s
transpired so far in this franchise, I might have a better handle on
the events below. As it is, there’s one scene that *ahem* “borrows” a key scene from Land of the Dead. And man, them’s some big pooches running around in the woods out there. Enjoy:
OMG.. A FALLING TREE.. that is EPIC.. and the Army of vampires… wow… this makes LOTRs look like a made for TV movie…

To the trailer's credit, by comparison it looks like the least retarded out of the three.

They're a movie-site, dickhead.

Is the scene that borrows from Land of the Dead the shot with the vampires walking out of the water? Cause wasn't Land of the Dead borrowing that from Carnival of Souls?

HOLY SHIT!
Vampire vs. werewolves vs. zombies vs. vampires!?!

Shit, did I see Harpo productions on the end of this? What is Oprah dabbling in now…

Wow, this film is going to break all the boundaries and taboos of cinema to become the first mainstream gay porno. A bunch of shirtless young men going all "doggy style" in the woods, and a pasty, fruity guy prancing around with his fag hag, it couldn't more obvious what this movie's REALLY about. "Vampires" and "werewolves" and Mormons, oh my….

Looks like a mix between Narnia and Interview With A Vampire. Two movies I fucking despise.

"If I knew even 1% of what's transpired so far in this franchise, I might have a better handle on the events below."—–Well, from what I've gathered, from the bits and pieces I've caught while the first 2 films were playing at my theater, about 95% of the 4 and a half hours of screen time so far consists of "I want to be with you". "We can't be together". "Let me into your world". "You CAN'T be a part of my world". "But I WANT to be a part of your world…". That seems to be the gist of it, and sometimes those scenes actually include a female.

enough with the woods! A soundstage, please, anything!

@#6: Carnival of Souls isn't quite the life-font of zombie movies as some claim. If anything, it's closer to Jacob's Ladder than the Dead films.

I'm, starting to get the feeling that this site is personally profiting from Twilight hate that they themselves help create. If the sentiment was the other way around, I don't think Devin would have the most read article in the history of the site. This just looks like Romeo and Juliet dabbling in the occult. I mean, is it really THAT offensive? Where is the hate for the Guy Ritchie/Madonna remake of Swept Away? That's offensive.
On the other hand I still can't get over the fact that Speed Racer is a more grounded, realistic film than anything I've seen from the Twilight series.
Bung!
