Last July I saw some footage from Jonah Hex at San Diego Comic Con. The fact
that three or four good minutes existed then makes the current lack of
trailers all the more baffling; there’s finally a trailer coming this
week, attached to A Nightmare on Elm Street, and a SyFy Channel commercial
premiered a tiny bit of that footage.
I’m normally against running stories
that are just commercials for commercials, but the fact that no footage from this movie has been
made public fascinates me. Here you’ll see about thirty seconds of
stuff, none of which looks terrible. Surely Warner Bros could have cut
together a couple of minutes of material a few months ago, right?

That was.. ephemeral.
No mystery here, Warner bros. is just retarded. .
No, no, that looks shite.
Desperado meets Wild Wild West is the vibe I got unfortunately. I'm not a hater of this project. Hopefully the supernatural elements will make it a bit more interesting.
Trailers, by their very nature, are deceptive and it's easy, even with an abysmally shitty movie, to cut together a promising – if not truly badass – 3 minutes of footage to get an audience excited. Hell, just look at the trailers for the Star Wars prequels. Even after the first one, when even the hardcore Star Wars geeks knew Lucas was just going to keep right on committing merciless childhood sodomy with a post hole auger, the trailers made them think, "That looked pretty good. This could be the one that redeems the previous atrocity!" But it wasn't. And it didn't. So, yeah, the fact that WB hasn't made any effort to promote the movie – even with deceptive trailers – is both baffling and foreboding. Which, in a way, is probably the most effective marketing campaign of all, since it only makes me even more curious to see the movie when it's released.
That gatling gun horse would be soooo deaf.
Wicky wicky wild wicky wild wicky wild… Also it took me three viewings to realize that was Malkovich. Looks like Chris Elliot.
"finally!"? you weren't waiting, were you? no one will see this pile of shit.

So how many Devin articles feature a quote similar to "I'm normally against running stories that are… (just commercials/rumors/hype/unconfirmed by reputable sources/etc.)"? Answer: Many.
"No footage was made public"? There was a screening yesterday in Los Angeles. Try to find someone who saw that, i missed my chance to get in.
@12 – I thought yesterday's screening was canceled…?
I expect this to be the biggest bomb of the summer. No one is anticipating it, no one even knows what it is.
i saw it yesterday at the bridge in LA. fucking sucked. that's why they haven't released footage, because they have an unreleasable piece of shit on their hands.
