There’s a new A Nightmare on Elm Street opening this weekend, but true fans know that Freddy Krueger has had plenty of adventures over the years. Never Sleep Again is a behind the scenes doc that looks at the entirety of the Nightmare franchise and offers lots of cool insights and secrets… like this information about Peter Jackson’s version of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
The doc hits DVD on May 4th, but if you pre-order now you’ll get a cool limited edition poster and be entered in a drawing to win another poster that has been signed by literally dozens of the cast and crew of the many A Nightmare on Elm Street films. Why the hell didn't they make Peter Jackson's script? That sounded great!
I'm not sure how the PJ version of Freddy would have panned out but I would have loved to find out…
Sounds like a great addition to the "Movies That Never Were" list…. hmm?!?! (The premise sounds like shit to me, but I actually liked "Freddy's Dead", so what do I know?)
