As far as the "we didn't cross the border, the border crossed us" line… the US won that territory fair and square, over the bodies of dead Mexicans. If Mexico wants it back, or the Indians for that matter, they can fight us for it. But since they need the US (Mexicans and Indians) for their very survival in this day and age, war is not going to happen. I got an idea: why don't you clean up the economy of your own country so you don't have to risk your life crossing the border? Oh, that's right, the US wants to keep them "status quo" so that they will never be a military threat to us in the future…
