Eden Games’ newest trailer for Test Drive Unlimited 2 highlights much of what you’d expect from an open world racing game: a day/night cycle, off-road trails, near misses down narrow Ibiza streets, and… wait a minute, is that a character generator and a poolside club? Who dumped Playstation Home in my Test Drive?
Is MMO-style player customization just a shallow, gimmicky twist? Given the game’s multiple co-op modes, including one that allows a player to ride shotgun and navigate while a friend drives, it might actually be fun. Hopefully the dance clubs won’t go the same route as the Playstation Home pavilions, which were pretty much virtual sexual harassment hubs.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 arrives on September 21, 2010.

I'll buy you a Deathklok shirt, or Ghostbusters if that's you thing, and then ask you what you got underneath it, while i fumble through the clumsy menu looking for a "crouch emote" to let you know what is on my horny little avatar's mind…. cool?
