No, I was thinking the same thing when I saw it in theaters, wondering why the thing was spinning the wheel with one limb and punching with another. Maybe JJ will answer that mystery in the sequel.

i'm not sure why they wait several days after a trailer has premiered at a theater to upload it in Quicktime. it's not a movie, it's an ad. and by several days' later time, i've already seen it in shaky-cell-phone-cam. this one wasn't good enough to re-watch, even in HD.
if i were marketing shit, i'd want to capitalize on Buzz by putting my best quality shit out there right away.

Having illogical or continuity violating things happen in a movie just for their dramatic effect is a Spielberg trademark (see the underwater oxygen tank gunshot in Jaws, or ask yourself what the T-rex was standing on earlier as you watch Sam Neill rappel into the ravine where its paddock used to be). So if this movie is a sort of throwback to classic Spielberg, then that inexplicably spinning door-wheel thing is right at home here.
