Here’s a very cool print that traces the dissolution of Jack Torrance in The Shining. It’s every costume change that Jack Nicholson has, mapped onto a reverse evolutionary diagram. Certain movies seem to hit the internet/pop cult consciousness and it looks like it’s The Shining‘s turn in the spotlight. I just saw a very cute Winnie the Pooh meets The Shining comic strip.

There's an old trailer on youtube for The Shining as a family comedy. Not as good though as When Henry Met Sally as a hororr film or Dirty Dancing as directed by David Lynch. Probably all common knowledge, but, fuck it, I don't read comments after I post anyway since I'm a narcissist like that.
