No four words could make me NOT want to watch something quite like "Chris Klein Mamma Mia".

If this is real, it's the greatest video ever. He looks extremely coked out, like he just stepped out of the Andy Samberg cocaine digital short from SNL the other night.

I think this is absolutely real. There's no way he could actually 'act' like this without indicating.

I can confirm this legit. I was there. However the video cuts in a rather interesting place. He continues to ramble takes his jacket off and does an extreamly uncomfortable 1 on 1 with the piano player (Josh) as his version (out of sync and tune) of SOS concludes he blames Josh (in a joking kind of way) he says and quote " You cant make this without me, but maybe you (Josh) then slaps Josh on the shoulder and laughs. Josh being a good guy takes it in his stride with giggles. Further banter continues. The his last words of the audition were and quote " Don't forget what I said about Mandy " His audition was just poor which happens to the best of people on off days. We saw worse. Far worse, From higher profile people. He was actually kind of fun.

Y'know, he's not TOO bad in the lower register. It's the high notes that he has trouble with.

it just looks like a bad audition from somebody who cant sing but desperately needs a job so is willing to do anything. Goes on thousands of times a day every day all around the world. No big deal. Its funny, but nowt special. Probably does have a substance misuse problem.

Im torn. If it is "real", it's a sad peek into LaLaLand. If its "fake" he is a master of understatement. Honestly, if this was planned, I'd like to think there would be more "funny bits" included. As is, it's too weird.

@ Crom — I think you are absolutely right. To believe that this was a put on would be to believe that Klein somehow improved his acting skills exponentially.

The thing is, I've seen MAMMA MIA, and this is no worse than Pierce Brosnan's singing in the finished film.

Real or not, this is almost as bad as his performance in the new Street Fighter movie. Almost.

Considering some of the other singing in that film, they should have given him the part.

Regardless of whether or not this is real, I'm really intrigued with the idea of seeing other actors "audition" for well known rolls.

His cheesy acting was the best thing in Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-li.

This is not real; it just seems too fake, like he was trying too hard. It's funny though. Although, I do admit that if this turns out to be real, it will be a million times funnier than it already is.

As bad as he is, Klein's still a better actor than that other famous Hollywood block of wood — Keanu Reeves.

I think I just pissed myself laughing. If you really want to see something funny. let it buffer till half way and pause it. The faces he makes as I scroll the progress bar is too damn funny.
