I love the guys over at BadTaste, I really do. Not only do they frequently have great toys, they’re not shy about sharing them with us, their American pals. And if they don’t have them personally, they tell us which other kids have the good stuff. I just got the four (three actually, but one has two versions) international posters for Nimrod Antal’s and Robert Rodriguez’ upcoming Predators. The first and fourth posters are from Badtaste, the second from ComingSoon.it and the third from ScreenWeek.it. You can click all the posters to head over to their respective sites. I was already psyched for this film and these have kicked up that fervor even more. Predators opens July 9th.

Wow! I can't believe how close this is to coming out. I am more interested now than I was. But I suppose it was indifference that allowed this to sneak up on me. I expect this to be the second best Predator film, 2nd to the original, of course. It's just that I still can't really even get excited for that. Maybe if Arnold were back with another crew of cheesy manly men…that's what made the original so fun. Maybe this will be more in line with Aliens and kick ass that way. I hope so. Still amused by the director's name. It'll take some of us a while to get over it.
Nimrod actually means Hunter in Hebrew. Pretty nice touch. I can't wait for this movie, but it would have to be damn good to unseat Predator 2 as the second best in the series.
Wouldn't it be something if this ended up being the surprise summer winner, even over IRONMAN 2 which was also pretty damn good to?? Too bad they couldn't of shoehorned Shwartzenegger into this movie somehow, someway to sell it even better… Anyone know what the SUPER PREDATOR'S Look like???
Yes that 3rd poster should be titled 'Predator 3: Sexual Predator.' Also assuming that since they didn't bother putting Grace or Goggins in the posters that their characters dont exactly last too long…
Wow that 4th poster is a piece of art. Wouldnt mind hanging that on my wall right between my Lawrence of Arabia and Art Deco Rocketeer posters
"They are the most dangerous killers on the planet. But this is not our planet…" That tagline seems off. Shouldn't it be "the most dangerous killers on OUR planet" for the next sentence to be relevant? Plus, even though they're talking about the humans, I first thought of the predators, since that's what the movie's called, and then the tagline makes even less sense…
The only way the tagline makes grammatical sense is if they ARE the most dangerous killers on the alien planet, i.e. more dangerous than the predators. Maybe they are, maybe they win?
So I take it by the lack of "topher grace" on any of these posters… he's dog meat be the 30 min mark?
